Before any work begins, CLF tests the moisture and hardness of your concrete to ensure each job starts with a great foundation.

Concrete Preparation & Reconstruction
Your tired concrete will gain strength and come alive
CLF profiles your concrete to produce the perfect surface texture. This process also removes any weak or deteriorated areas to make certain our coatings properly bond to your concrete. Once the entire surface is profiled, CLF applies Citadel’s CR Mender to fix pitting, cracking, spalling, and other imperfections in your concrete. CLF then grinds the repairs flush, resulting in a seamless surface. The final step is to meticulously sweep and vacuum the entire project utilizing state-of-the-art dust containment systems with HEPA filtration to minimize airborne contaminants.

Basecoat & Chip Application
Your Concrete Takes On a bold new Look
CLF applies Citadel’s 100% solids, pure polyurea basecoat to continue the concrete transformation. Immediately after the basecoat application, vinyl chip os generously broadcast across the entire surface to the point of full coverage.
Step # 4
Certify Proper And Uniform Coverage
Your tired concrete will gain strength and come alive
After the basecoat cures, the surface is hand-scraped and vacuumed to remove any loose or vertical standing chips to guarantee complete and uniform coverage. This step provides a non-slip, “Orange Peel” surface that is both visually appealing and highly functional.

Top Coat Application
Your Old concrete is now the definition of strength and beauty
The final step to completing your new concrete floor is to apply Citadel’s 93% solids, polyaspartic polyurea topcoat. CLF applies the topcoat with a squeegee to ensure the chip is completely covered. We finish the topcoat (back-roll and cross-roll) leaving a brilliant, durable new floor.
